Default 2006 Z Oil Consumption

Im going this weekend to test drive an 06. I want an 07, but I can get a touring 06 with only 4400 miles for 26000. A bit cheaper than an 07. Anyway, is there any way to tell about the oil consumption problem? Im going saturday so some help is needed thanks guys/girls

Buy it, and check your oil level in about 1,000 miles.

ya ill buy the 07 but i FUKING hate the hood thats y i dont trade mine in and plus i invested to much in my z to trade it.. the only way to find out is to check your levels after 700-1000 miles the only good thing that could happen is that you can get a brand new engine if its positive on consumption im waiting for the new engines to come out cause i have some consumption problems like 2qts every 700miles..

well the bad thing about buying a 2006 used is you can deal with the warranty but you cannot lemon law it if it does have an oil problem. Nissan is required to fix it but you don't have the BBB stick to hold over them.

Only way to tell is drive it and see if your oil goes down. I would try to find out the car's history. Why would someone get rid of a car with only 4400 miles on it in a years time.

It might be worth the risk on a new 2006 but a used one.. not so sure.
