Where exactly in LA do you live? I might stop by WCN tomorrow so I'll see u maybe
If your clutch was stock, time to upgrate to JWT or Nismo combo! Stock clutch is crap anyway.

2 things never sleep. Rust and thieves. Good to hear your story had a reasonably happy ending considering.

+ 1 on that. Not to mention driving with the doors locked.

That's one crazy *** story. Relatively amateur thief, the Z hits 120 like nothing and I doubt your SUV can even go that fast.. Glad you got your car back, hopefully you'll invest in a nice remote start/alarm. I had one before and if you hit a button before you take your keys off the ignition the car stays on for quick stops.

Ya I know it was my fault for leaving the keys in it. Believe me, I wish I would have had time to grab the glock, homeboy would not have ran away. Clutch was stock, luckily its being covered under warranty. I'll just have to pay for the tow. Maybe when I get to WCN I'll see about the JWT combo, not looking to spend any money right now. Just need something to drive.

Oh and about my psycho ex-gf having something to do with it....I highly doubt it. She doesnt really know any thug mexicans who have the ***** to pull this off. THis just hasnt been a great month for the Z. Im just glad I got the car back. I even had my expensive Armani watch sitting in the cupholder and the idiot didnt see it there.

That's crazy, at least you only had to replace the clutch and nothing else.

The OP lives in LA... there's rampant asshats of every ethnicity there, so who cares. Can't trust anybody, anyways.

What I wanna know is... how much of the cost is the OP's insurance company going to cover for the new clutch?

WHATEVER YOU DO, DO NOT REPORT IT TO INSURANCE!!! You don't want your vehicle somehow showing up as a "Theft Recovery" on the title.
