90% men
I read that 90% of the 350Z buyers are men.
Has anyone else heard this? If true this is probably one of the most male dominated cars out there. I think I read that like 40-50% of corvette buyers are women. Also like 50-60% of corvettes are automatics.
Any thoughts? Are all the Z buyers spoiled emeninem types like that civic driver (matt) mentioned?

No more....."Sometimes I think you love the car more than me"......"It's just a silly car"......."I don't see why we can't eat in the car..."
Plus there is just something about a female that is into cars.....

That is probably more a factor of the pre-order process. Women in general are signaficantly more pratical then men regarding things like cars. Men however will do stupid things like dropping money on a car they have never driven, or in some cases even seen, then obsessivly hit web forums daily looking for any scrap of info to hold them over till their cars get here.
As the cars are available in showrooms, I would guess that the percent of male Z drivers will decrease.
Excuse me now, I have to see the physical therapist regarding the RSI in got from frantically visiting Z forums for the past year.

I don't think I would feel entirely comfortable with a car that was owned by 90% women.

I wonder if it could ever work....it could be a beautiful thing but "track envy" may rip us apart.....I ordered an enthusiast.
It's one thing for my significant other to make more money than me....I'm fine with that...but brake better than me?....I just don't know if I can accept that.

Marcy-
I'd definitely say less than 24 hours! By the way, I got my VIN from my dealer - he contacted me out of the blue...Nice, right? Definitely call your dealer tomorrow. If you have an R, then you should probably have a VIN...I have my VIN and I'm an S. Good luck! And thanks for the "moxie" compliment, it made me blush
