I completely understand your frustration. Until the call yesterday I was impossible to live with.
I spoke at length with the inventory manager at Smithtown on Thursday. He showed me that I was still the first to recieve a car at the dealership. I would guess you are too for your dealership.
Now as to why our Aug. delivery dates slipped back into Sept.? We are more likely to find out when the US will invade Iraq then the answer to that question.
Why people who ordered a month or more after we did are getting their cars before us ? Another question we will likely never know the answer to.
In my case I was expecting the car the end of Aug. Now it appears about a week later. So that isn't so bad. The lease on my car expired on June 15th so I have been paying on an extended basis. When I realized that I would be needing to go into Sept. I spoke to Nissan and they are giving me a "grace" period of around 10 days. That kind of cooperation will help ease the financial costs I shouldn't have had to pay if car was on time.
Call your inventory manager, General Manager, etc and get the Vin number. They have by now.

ZGATOR and I just got the great news. We have our vins and the cars are coming into Jacksonville Aug 19th for delivery Sept 6 plus or MINUS 5 days!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

 

VIN # JN1AZ34D63T10**** SEPT 6+/- 5days. There is a pretty good chance that I will be driving it to Gainesville after all to see the Gators kick butt on Sept 7th.

Same info as RACERBOY (same dealer) I have the VIN at work where I got the call. Delivery scheduled for 8/31, may come earlier to avoid Sat. delivery. Ordered 1/11 corrected 1/13.
