Default Hit 50K miles on my 03 Performance

Problems:
1) Driverside window motor...a few weeks ago it got stuck twice, knocked on the door, havent had a problem since. if its not broke, im not fixin it lol

except for 1 blown speaker, that my friends is it (knock on wood). Ive had it since 28K miles and it is my DD. I bought it from a Benz dealer. The previous owner worked there and she said she replaced the infamous tranny.

Figured I would shed some good news for us 03 owners since we get a bad rap for owning the "test model" lol. I will update you all again when i hit 100K!! BOOYA

Good to know. have about 25k more miles than you and i haven't had a single problem yet. No tranny, engine, or anything. Looks and drives brand new.

For people with 03 models, do you go replace the tranny even if its not making any noise?

i don't think it was a recall. They would have to replace a lot of trannies if that was teh case.

I've got an 03 Touring, it has 60k on it. It runs like a top. When I got it (55k miles) I had my dealership pull and print the service history... Nothing out of the normal, regular scheduled maintenance and recalls / tsb's. As far as my transmission goes, my shifter goes into gear like a hot knife through butter.
