being a former HONDA enth... i had a 94 hatch with a gsr motor turboed out at 383 whp.. on a built motor and i was running high 11s... and trust me it cost way more then 5gs.. yea u can make a honda fast with 5gs.. but thats all lowline products "prob. used", and the car becomes less reliable.. Be happy that u drive a Z... most ladies would check out the dude with the stock Z then holla at some kid in a boosted out civic.....

Even if the Civic was faster then the 350z, its still a civic. Unless you drag race every weekend at the track I don't see the point. Even then I still would rather drive a slower 350z around town then a Frankenstein civic.

This is funny. You guys are trying to make someone feel better by lowballing hondas. 5000.00 in a civic hatch? All he has to do is drop a b18c and install a 100 shot nos and he smokes almost anything on the road. 350z's are heavier and not really that impressive in the straight line. Nothing wrong with a civic or integra. most you guys were driving those before the "350z" came out. Dont come on here asking people in the forums if you could be another car to make yourself feel better. just go out there and see for yourself or shut up. Gets old after a while when you try to compare 2 totally different cars.

 

I think the Z will win.

Even if they put the K20 in it, it'll have really bad traction problems and they could probably pull a 13 second.

The Z already pulls 13's....put 5 K into, mainly some nitrous and you'll be in 12's... least that's what i think.

Alright, yeah those hondas are cheap to mod in comparison to the Z but I dont know if 5000 is enough to make the civic beat the z. the k20 cost about 5000 on ebay with install and right tuning might cost more. The z seems to be a 13 sec car in the 07 models( consistently) and with a few mods should be able to hit 12's.


Anyways... I would just something like " okay, we have a $1 budget out of all your guys cars which one could pick up more girls?" Who would win?

I think there both very reliable i respect both cars but i had nothing but kids in honda hatches reving and trying to race me.If i see a nice honda done up right and not riced out with a 10 foot wing i will def give them specially the s2000's they look sick done up nice.
