The Wave - such thing for the Z?
When driving my dad's Vette, it was common for other Vette drivers to wave as we passed each other on the road.
Do Z owners do this?

There was some discussion to what the Z owners should do. Some of it was pretty funny, but I don't know if we ever decided on a final "thing."
I think the thread was something like "The Z Salute." But I can't remember for sure.

YES. Whenever two Zs pass each other, they immediately stop in the lane they are driving in. Get out, run around both cars 3 times, bow, shake hands three times, spin each other around two times, yell at the top of their voices BOOGA...BOOGA...Z FOR ME and then get back in their cars and drive away. Wadafuc?

Hell I give most cars thumbs up if they meet my criterea
1) Rare car (Not many cars in my area...so this applies to Z06s, 350Zs of course, Exotics, etc)
2) Very nice car..and I think it looks sweet
3) Just ran the car and it was damn impressive...
Thats just the basics..but I love to give the thumbs up...

It's the 3 finger salute, guys! Like a peace sign, only you add a third finger in there. It symbolizes the fact that this is the third generation of Zs. Quick, simple, and effective.

OF COURSE!!!!
It's a sign of mutual respect for each others good taste!!!
If you guys didn't know, VW owners do this, no matter what model they have. Now there's a sense of community! It's awesome!
If you don't, you're a jerk, and a snob!

The manual specifically states turning the xenons on and off quickly is bad for them. However, I don't think the high-beams are xenons.. so flashing high beams shouldn't be bad.
