What does the front spoiler look like then, and can you add it on later? Doesnt it have a rear diffuser or soemthing also? Can you really notice the difference with the lighter rims, have any of you switched them back n forth? Think i only like the 06+ rays.

It's probably the same chin spoiler they've always had. It's that little black strip under the stock bumper that they call a spoiler. I might be wrong though since we are talking about the 07 model.

I like how everyone looks down on people if they don't own a Z. It's a Nissan....not a Ferrari. I think it's great that so many people admire the NISSAN we drive.

Yep, that's what it is. You don't really see it unless you get on the ground and look under the bumper.

You might consider thinking so. That's what front spoilers look like. Would you rather want it on the top of your hood the way it sits on the hatch?

A spoiler's job is to increase down force at high speed. On the Z's rear, it does that by sitting on the hatch; in the front, it can only do it by resting where it does; otherwise it would actually increase drag rather than down force.

Just saying that because my accord had the same exact thing and it never was advertised as a front spoiler.

Question

Which did you go for? The Touring or the Touring GT?

Yes but instead of being 3/8 of an inch it's about 5/8 of an inch. For me with my splitter I'm glad I didn't have one or my splitter would be slanting up and would become a plane and lift my front end at speed.

Man, the GT is sex on wheels though. I love the spoiler, wheels, and brembo brakes. $3400 dollar jump.... I'd do it.

I may just have to go and look at one .... Then again, $3400 buys me lot's of aftermarket stuff. Not to mention the extra $300 in tax...

Yyes it's worth it because it has Bose and those Brembo brakes are soo hot man! I have ridden in a 2003 Track and those Bremobos are really nice on it.

The GT is worth the extra money as there is no way you could buy equalivant wheels, tires and Brembo's for anything close to the extra cost of a GT.

Good luck on your purchase.

P.S. The 07's are having slave cylinder problems. Mine is at the stealership right now getting it resolved.

DUDE yours too??? I just had mine replaced!!!! First they changed master, then the assist. I was told they knew it was the assist but were not sure if changing it would keep it from happening again. I swear after they changed it the clutch has more free play than it should. Make them bleed it well.

I also have the GT. Brembos and larger wheels and rays sold me on it. I could have had a touring with a nismo exhaust but opted for better stopping and an aftermarket exhaust later.

Another “Thinking about getting a 350Z” waste of time.

the GT also has Front Chin Lip, and rear Lip and Rear defuzer.

But you can add all that to your Touring. I did.
