I had debated between the different packages before i got my 07 GT. When it came down to it the Brembo's were the selling point for me. They are amazing and worth every cent. I know you can upgrade later but if you are getting it new why not get what you want, and not say later on i wish i had gotten this or that. I also personally loved the way the RAYS' looked. Good luck on your purchase.

Frank

P.S. The 07's are having slave cylinder problems. Mine is at the stealership right now getting it resolved.

the clutch sticks to the floor due to a slave cylinder problem. I'm not even sure what that is but it's not good.

btw- Nissan states that the Grand Touring gets a front and rear spoiler but I have never seen this so-called front spoiler

Constant problems? This is true for every car forum since the first one went on line. Every single one. All cars have some problems at some point, but they get magnified to an insane degree on automotive forums.

You have to so-called "look" for it, and to do that, you have to know what front spoilers look like.

Bought the GT and I couldn't be more thrilled. Rims look so good i can't even look aftermarket yet...brembos are awesome.

I was thinking the exact same thing, and if you plan to do some significant aftermarket modding than GT is probably a waste, but other than that go for it.

One thing to remember tho-- for the price, you could get a touring WITH a navigation system, and those are pretty slick.

Best of luck!

Just to add, I like the GT. I came very close to buying an '06 but as it ended up, I got the '07 Touring which I believe got slightly bigger rotors from '06. The stock brakes seem great so far. The GT is a nice package, but for me it really wasn't worth the extra $. Besides, I got a pretty good deal on the Touring. The '07 rims are nice, just not quite as nice as the GT. If the money doesn't matter that much to you, go for it!

06 and 07 brakes rotors are the same , if you like a nice stock looking Z the gt is the way to go man . even though i switch out my nice gt wheels for some volks , after all i think it's all worthy, btw did you look at them at gwinnett place nissan ? make sure you ask for Cotton , he's a such a great person to deal with.

No they don't. And you don't even own a car, let alone a Z.

Yeah, I got confused with the Audis that offer MP3 player jacks and memory stick adapters in their units.

No but I know what you DON'T own, which is a Z. Remember saying you've been "wanting one" in the other thread?

I have a 2006 GT with all the bells and whistles. Nothing like the "seat warming" on a cold winter morning along with all the other features. If you can afford it, why not go for it.

Interlagos, Stage 2, True Dual, CAI, 6spd

Move out of your mom's basement, the radon fumes are getting to you.
