I think sports cars and cars in general should be red.
My '91 Mitsu 3000 GT was red. Our '01 Acura CL-S is red, my pre-order '03 Z was redline (R.I.P.) and my '07 Z is redline.
Needless to say I like red cars. We're probably going to replace our CL-S with a Murano, but since it's my wife's she has said it won't be red. Too bad.

For me, the color choice/option was very important.
I turned down two different stealerships that had a 350Z with the package I was looking for (touring) but not in the Daytona Blue color - they had Chrome Silver and Silverstone.
I waited about 3 extra months to find the Z I wanted and it was worth it!

Im definately a color buyer. I passed on so many good deals cause of color. PPW was very dissapointing to me. SOMETIMES I see a Z that makes me wish I would have gotten SS,
Then I turn around and another Z puts that thought to rest very quickly,
SB is the color for me. My driveway is gravel and yes it gets dirty when I leave home but you know what? The SB Z is the baddest car on the road dirty or not. And when you wash it after a few days or a week of having it dirty it looks better than you remember and its worth it everytime. I love my car!

I wanted the Siltstone Grey, but I ended up getting Silverstone. Other than those two colors I would've gotten Black, but would've painted the handle bars or had them powder coated gunmetal.

PPW , SS, or Black in that order were my prefs. Chose PPW in the end because it is easier to keep clean than black, heat isn't as bad as black, and just had a Silver Jeep GC before. PPW FTW!

Speaking of Purple, saw the ugliest Purple SRT-8 Charger yesterday. Those paint schemes only look good on the classic muscles, not the modern day versions

i didn't want a Z in the first place to be honest.
i went to the Nissan dealer cause my wife wanted to trade her Explorer in for a Xterra or Pathfinder. i test drove the Z out of curiosity and fell in love. it just so happened to be black..........now that i have it and took time to compare it to other colors, i wouldn't have it any other way.
ps - wife still has the Explorer!

I believe color choice is very important to an owner. Imagine if you were driving your car and always wishing for a new color...not very good feeling right? I myself am in love with Daytona Blue My other favorites includes Ultra yellow, Super Black/Magnetic Black, and PPW of course.
