Its just a list of how many hits occur for each car on the MSN auto page, guys.

It means nothing.

Is the Skyline GTR (R33) a sports car? Was just curious, as it was offered in a 4 door version.

BTW, don't pretty much all GTR's have 2+2 seats? If so, guess they aren't sports cars...

I kinda figured none of the fanboys would answer this question.

its funny that the Sky and Solstice are #6 and #10 when they're virtually identical cars?

Why are people so hung up on the number of seats in a sports car? Shouldn't performance be what matters?

I don't consider it a sports car if that makes you happy.

Actually, there's two names I'm looking for here and you're not one of them.

Times change. I consider the GTR to be a sports car. I don't get hung up on historical definitions.

lol I see.

I just don't consider EVOs/STIs sports car so it wouldn't be fair to call the GT-R one either

The Mustang GT and GT500 are overweight pieces of crap with exceedingly inefficient engines and crappy workmanship all around. They have pitiful handling, trust me I know I have driven a GT, and it is ONLY a straight line car... it is far from being a "sports" car.

The GTR on the other hand has none of the crappy qualities of the GT... other than the 2+2 seater arrangement, which I don't consider a feature that excludes a car from being classified as a sports car.
