It took me 3 days (back and forth) to read the entire "feather" thread, and as a major potential buyer - maybe this month - I've really come to be hesitant in buying the 2003. I can't imagine what this "bounce" issue is and will need to search for that later.

With everything said and done, do you all still suggest purchasing this year's model, or should I hold out till a true solution is done at NNA, not at the owner's investigative (and exhaustive) efforts?

I must say, this was definitely a great combined effort in researching Nissan's flaw.

I'm a huge fan of the Z, but at the same time, there seemed to be a lot of frustration, service runs and service calls to cater to this flaw.

And does anyone know if these same specs will be in 2004 that it really wouldn't matter what model year to purchase?
