4 Z32....2 94TT 5speeds
1 92TT Auto
1 93 Convertible Auto

I'm thinking of getting a 260 or 280 and having a" fix up" project vehicle, this is of course after getting the beast going

...probably in a couple of years

I miss my Hot Rod

Currently I own a 260, the one on the "White Finishers" thread.

And I owned a wonderful, fast, loud, extremely clean 240. SOLD!
I miss it a lot.

I had a '72 240 and had a 350 V8 dropped in after about a year of owning it (it was 8 years old at that point). I actually totaled it in Arlington, TX (Wesman's home town).

240Z and 350Z owner!

I am the proud owner of original silver Zs. My 1972 240Z is refinished in Sikken Audi silver, which is a bit brighter than my Chrome Silver 350Z. Oddly enough, I took delivery of each Z car from a Datsun/Nissan dealer 30 years and 3 months apart!

I had a super clean silver '73 240 when I was in high screwall. It was my first car and I had it for four years and then I totalled it. The only real mod I had on it was a 411 posi rear end. I bought a '72 240 with the insurance money. One day i was at the wrecking yard looking for parts and I saw my silver Z there. I looked under it and the posi rear end was still in there. I bought it for dirt cheap and put it my '72. That Z is now in my sisters huge back yard rusting away.

OK. What is the diff tween a Z31 & a Z32. I had a 1990 300 NA.

Z31's= 84-89 300ZX...look like this:

Z32's= 90-96 300ZX...like the one you had ...this one is my '93 convertible

You had a Z32.

Z31 = 84 to 89 300ZX
Z32 = 90 to 96 300ZX

Have you found the auto TT to be faster than the manual TT's?

Had a 1990

My 1st Zcar was a 1990 300ZX NA 5MT. I absolutely loved the car and would prefer to ride it to almost anything else. I now have a 350Z touring with the 6MT. It is IMHO a far superior car in most areas. One area in which the '90 was superior was the storage in the hatch area. Otherwise the '03 is the better car.
