Okay, I figured this would weed out the tuners in the group. I'm new here and didn't see any threads from tuners.

Is anyone planning on installing a turbo-kit on their Z to be the first on their block with a boosted 350? If so I would appreciate anything technical you uncover in the process.

I'm wondering how strong the pistons are stock in the car. Obviously not being turbo'd from the factory means no beefy rods. So we're not going to get the build-up capability of say a Supra Turbo out of the engine. I see it has a 10-1 compression ratio. I'm going to guess that even a low boost (8 psi) kit on the 3.5 liter would result in a car near maybe 400 hp.

Question is, can that carbon-fiber driveshaft take the extra hp?
