3 grand or so, new rim, headlight, bumper, front panel, i cant tell if you hood is screwed up but that would be another 800 or so. Actually 4 sounds more realistic since i am sure there are things that are not visible that will have to be repaired

be very careful, IMO all of that could be repaired vs replaced, but I would be sure that you do not go that route. get it all replaced, they are really going to want to repair the hood, which appears bent, get a new one.

hopefully the damage is purely cosmetic. and the car is new, which means the paint hasnt faded, lending to an easy painting.

 

make sure you obtain lost value from the other guys insurance.

Your car will now have a Carfax report that will state it has been in an accident.

This is worth 20% of the total value of your car.

I know what you are talking about. Some guy put his car into reverse in the middle of the street and backed into me...caused $2500 in damage. They replaced the bumber, right front panel, and headlight. The headlight was $800! This guy is trying to say I ran into him! Ha! I was completely stopped and he backed into me...I can't believe these people. I went ahead and got the car fixed under my collision coverage and hopefully will be able to recover the deductible from the other insurance company, but that could be weeks, or even months! I swear I almost beat the crap out of the guy when he tried to accuse me of running into him. I just got the car back from the bodyshop and they did a great job.

 

i'm thinking u can sue him for that, since the other car's tiretrack has a different pattern than ur Z's tire~

 

Let the police determine that, then bust his *** if it was indeed his fault. Ride his insurance to a full lather.

 

well i have no real witnesses b/c it was all the guys friends outside who saw it and are lieing, they didnt state the fact that he was driving on the wrong side of the road!!!!!!!
