Help Me Decide! 350z or s2000

I had this exact same conundrum a few days ago at a Nissan dealership in Leesburg and ended up buying a silver Z instead of a red S2K. Legroom is a big issue for me, the S2000 has very little legroom; take a fart and you just might pop a weld on the floorboards (me and my analogies ).
The F20 powerplant on the S2000 is a great platform, but it does not compare with the VQ-35, which is used on the G and the Z.
The choice is clear.

^^ Cross sharing of engine platforms is just a way for companies to save money. The VQ series is used by tons of Nissan/Infinity vehicles. While I agree that the VG series is a great engine, I just feel like an engine that was built from the ground up (such as the F20/F22) for a specific application is better
Of course I may be biased as an s2k owner.

I have no problem with 350 owners defending their cars, but there's no need to bash on s2000s and spread FALSE information. If you're going to write up a post, make sure all your information you're bringing to the table is actually CORRECT. In other words know your ****. That blue s2000 on the last page is a CR, not a Mugen, and s2000s don't run 14.5s in the quarter, more like flat 14 with someone behind the wheel that is somewhat decent. There are also people running 13.7s completely stock. It all depends on the driver.
S2000s may not have any torque, but it is in fact FASTER than 350 verts, and only a tenth or two slower than the coupes. You guys have to keep in mind that this is a 4 cylinder engine we're talking about, not a v6. Those who continue to bash the s2000 for it's "lack of torque" are just idiots.
With that said, the s2000 is definitely not for everybody. For a daily driver it is loud and bumpy. The trunk is small and it often gets confused with a miata by people who don't know their cars. The funny thing is that nobody on here brings up gas mileage. I gas mileage is just as important as torque for a daily driver, especially with the gas prices nowadays.
I frequent s2ki, and there have been 350 vs s2000 threads. The s2000 owners do say that the Z is heavy and does not handle as well, BUT they also give the Z props for being a better GT car and a better daily driver due to the torque. Some of you on here just flat out hate the s2000 just because it's a Honda, what great maturity.
No offense you guys, value my post as a grain of salt if you like, just throwing this out. I'll get flamed for sure for this post, although I do not believe I posted a single line of false information.

I like both cars. Never really cared for the soft top S2K since everyone here in the Bay seems to just slash it up and steal your things. If I would ever get an S2K I would get one with a hard top. Then again that adds about 2K to the price tag, haha.

I'm setting up another private event (15 cars) with unlimited track time for the day in August.
Send me a PM if you're interested; I'll be running a S2k.
FWIW, the s2k salalom's faster, and skidpads higher than a Z. The Z's power advantage will completely overwhelm any handling advantage the s2k has on the majority of tracks and situations out there.
The Z is a much better overall car; the S2k is a better weekend/second car.
Most Z owners on this board use the Z as their only/primary car, and the Z outsells the S by a 20:1 margin for that reason.
Most S owners use the S as their 2nd/3rd/4th/weekend/toy car.
Yes, I ***** and moan about having no torque (Yes, a VQ idles more torque than a F20C/F22C makes at peak), I'd like to point out a few trends.
VQs have been getting higher redlines and losing torque in the last few iterations.
Newer Honda motors have been getting more and more torque in the last few iterations...
2800 lbs is simply easier to make handle better than 3200 lbs.
