BTW - it's really a sports car so there's not a lot of insulation and sound deadening. That stuff adds weight.

Ding ding ding.
You think this car is bad. You should have ridden in my supra. I got a freaking tan on my right leg cuz my tunnel got soo damn hot. With the transmission there and my Exhaust or lack there of dumping right before the tunnel, it kinda sucked, esp on Hot days.

It shouldnt be all that bad dude, but you will see, hear, feel more in a true sports car. Thats that joy of a sports car.

Hmm I never thought of that i'll check that when i get home

The heat comes from your test pipes/cats, they are located directly below.

Yup, my '07 is the same. Like there's a furnace under my floor/seat.
Maybe it's worse with the '07...maybe it has to do with the dual exhaust now...I have no idea if the previous models ran under the driver side, but I know it's now two independent pipes.

+1. I have to put the A/C on the floor option sometimes to cool my feet off.

2007 is damn hot - need AC on even when windows are down makes my feet sweat. Even when you get out of the car you can feel the heat from underneath and the hood --Heats my garage 5 degrees.

This is my first Nissan & first true sports car from any maker. So the heat is not a big deal
just not what I would expect. I love the ride, wish people would stop trying to race me with those f@ucking riced up Hondas And Integras -- Kids love to play. I'm sure I will get use to it in a few months or send it packing for BMW M or Audi S series.
