what were the issues that were fixed? Curious cause I just got an 2004.5. It has the knee pads and the two power outlets.

There is a difference in the rear suspensions between the 2003 and other years:

the front shocks on a reg 06 and below when you take them off are different , there both tockico shocks but the 06.5 to the 07 shocks when you remove them the shocks returns into itself. I was getting my tein s techs put on and we all confirmed that 06.5 Zs have shocks that return both ways ,...basically meaning you can install springs on a 06 and below without a spring compressor . But for the 06.5s and 07s a spring compressor for the fronts is nessesasry. The rears on all the Zs installation wise are a breese. Though spring rates have changed with each year 04 04.5 and 06 06.5 the shocks themselves changed minorly at 06.5. Thats def a fact.

no mines a manual and it says 06.5 on its front. In japan what most dont know is they make versions of Zs from factory. In japan someone could have a 06.7 etc.The minor changes equal different designations. There notorious for releasing tweaked models with a .4 or whatever for the same vehicle. The shocks on courtesy or whatever are the same , but rest assured if you changed out your suspension you will find the same difference i found in my 06.5 Z compared to my 04 Z and regular 06s.

There's no passenger side cup holder in the dash on the '06.5. I've got an '06.5 White Enthusiast, and the cupholders are as follows. There's one in each door (useless unless you want to make a real mess) and then two in the center console when you open the slider. They are also really B.S. cupholders... They consist of a small space, and a removable separator in between that space to keep the cups from moving (Which doesn't help most of the time). And yes, my owner's manual does say 2006.5.

The only positive difference substantiated so far is the change in the airbag system and I think that is stated on the front of the 06.5 owner's manual. I'm hearing that there was a difference in the front shocks. Have I got this right? Brakes were changed substantially(bigger) for all '06 models.

This thread got me thinking so I went downstairs, took off the car cover, and dug into my Z manual. I noticed that I did have as you noted "There's one in each door (cup holder) and then two in the center console when you open the slider." After looking at the manual I saw no 06.5 on the cover? Kinda confused if it's an 06' or 06.5' right now, not that I really care, but it would be nice to know what my Z is

Where are the Euro 4.5 suspension parts?
