should i trade ???
hi guys need some advice.
i have 2004 track edition. with 34k miles on it. i bought on JAN . and financing for 4 years.. so remaining is 3 yrs and 3 months.
the car is ok .. but i already had gear rebuilt because of the third gear problem and had many issues with it. and the warranty expired.
now i am abit better financially so i found a slightly used 2006 only 5K miles on it and its revup, but if i take it i will have to finance it for 4 years and 8 months. and the guy bought it on november 2006 and he boguth extended warranty for 1 more yr, so still i have 3 yrs warranty
shall i go with the deal ????? both cars black/orange interior, same looks.. just the engine and stuff .
p.s : i am confused
and need help flaming or whatever wont help me at all.

Well from a purely financial standpoint if you are better off now than when you bought it you should get the car you have paid off before jumping on another payment.
That being said, I think if I was going to upgrade it would be to a 07. I would expect them to be coming onto the used market soon.

uhh uve only had it for like 8 months and youre wanting to upgrade? sigh financially thats retarded as you will lose money straight off the bat. Either stick it out and wait till you gain more equity or get an 07 if your going to do that. Id suggest waiting a year and snatching an 07 and just put up with your current car.
Thanks for the advice guys. sure i would love to have the new 07... but the main reason is that my car everyday producing problems and i am paying alot on it.. you knwo what i mean.
so thats why i am considering this deal... plus the new one 2006 is veery low milage and its fro a freind so i know its not abused. u know what i mean.

list all of the problems you have had in the 8 months you have had it.
buying from a friend for something like this is usually a bad idea IMHO. Seems like it is a risk on the friendship if something goes wrong with the car later on.

2) the passenger window.
3) the feul tank meter is showing bad readings.
4) TSB sound from rear axle.
5) the car get over heated for no reason then cools down. i checked all the cooling stuff.
6) on idle, the car sometimes stall.
7) engine mounts changed,
8) tranny mounts had to be changed.
9) the differntial mounts had to be changed.
i can afford to pay a lil more on the installments but cant afford to keep fixing for high prices.

yeah well, when you grab that '06 and run into the oil consumption problems, it will just shift from Tranny issues on over to engine problems. keep the Z you have, the grass isn't that greenier yet. I understand your point of view when it comes to fixing things, but it sounds like you got most of it out of the way. Only thing left to do is drive it and keep it maintained.

The Nissan factory warranty is 3 years/36K bumper to bumper, and 5 years/60K on the drive train.
There is nothing to "accept" or not "accept". That's the coverage provided.
