Default Rental car?

Is Nissan supposed to/do they provide rental cars when your car is being fixed under warranty? I searched the forums but didn't find any helpful information, so sorry if this is a re-post. I have to take my ZR in tomorrow for "a few days of work" while they research why the top isn't working. Thanks for your help.

depends on the warranty. The "gold" warranty and above I believe has rental car coverage included.

There is no information in the warranty book (36 mo/36000 miles) as far as rental cars go.

According to 3yrs/ 36k miles, NO. However, some dealers do give out rentals.

my dealership provides loaners with basic warranty. but i might add that they used it as a way to encourage purchasing from them.

Post generally no

Generally no. Some dealers are willing to give you a loaner if the job takes >1 day or if it's a big job.

I used to go to Nissan of Fife when I was in WA (>30 miles from work and home) and sometimes they were willing to give loaners, esp. if my coworker and I both went for warrranty work and shared the loaner.

Mostly depends on how good your dealership is and if they like keeping customers happy. I got a rental for each TSB and warranty work that took longer than a couple hours.

I was given a rental voucher of up to $50 for when I had my "skipping" bose head unit replaced and when the tires were replaced and adjusted for cupping.

Depends on the dealership more than the type of warranty. Some are hardasses and some are more than willing even just for a day.
