I agree with everyone. Its maybe 3 dollars more per tank of fuel to fill up with premium.

After my last car, I had an LS with the V8. I used to put in the cheap stuff and noticed my car was pinging a bit under load, like if I was in a OD and going up a small hill but not under a lot of acceleration. I thought something was wrong with the car. Eventually I thought about putting in premium, once I did that I never had the problem again.

That being said, I only fill up with 93 from Mobil.

OP, that's all a bunch of B.S. You put whatever type of gas you want to in your car. It's yours isn't it? You're the one who makes the payments, right? And if you should hear a knocking, or pinging sound, that's just the engine's way of saying it loves you

Yeah, I've found a few stations where the prices are lower but I notice quite a bit of pinging even when filling with premium. This is not the place to cut corners!
