I wish the z only came in manual like the s2000

In a way I agree with you, I would like the Z to be more rare by only having it manual... but Nissan, like all other car companies, are trying to get as much money as possible. Therefore making it available in Automatic will allow so much more people to buy it.

Yeah I wish it was only MT, but everything is AT now, like Ferraris, Lambos, and the new EVO... etc., so I guess we have to deal with drivers who can't handle a car without every type of drivers assistance.

I'll tell you what would make it more rare, if it would cost a lot more. Then most of the complaints would not exist, because most of us would be priced out. It is what it is. For those of you complaining MT vs AT, 17,18, 19 inch rims vs 20's. Just be glad that there is a affordable sports car that allows us to make those kind of choices.

Round 2: Only a few AT driver's get really offended, the majority remain unrepresented on these forums.
Result: No one wins, tons of Z's on the road, and dirty looks.
^ hell ya its boring when i had my z it was AT lol i would always trade cars with my friend he drives MT he said it was kinda nice just relaxing not having to change gears but my next car is going to be MT for sure
I always wonder when I see a fellow Z driver on the road if hes driving a MT like me.
like a special bond between us.
I see more s2000s owned by enthusiasts so I agree with this thread.

This seems like a good moment for me to chime in with my first post. You don't want my life story, so I'll keep it brief:
I'm English and transferred over with my job to California from London in May. As you can tell by me joining this forum, I bought a 350Z recently.
Anyway, I do have something relevant to this debate to say. I'm not sure if you guys are aware, but in England (and all of Europe too), I'd say more than 90% of cars have manual transmission.
I guess my point was that it's funny to me how you guys have these debates about MT vs AT because in the UK there is no debate - everyone drives MT from age 17 and thinks of AT as something for old people!! Sorry to all you ATers out there

I'm glad I'm emotionally secure enough to not have to worry about what other people drive. Must suck to have to allow such petty BS run your life. But you all keep on thinking what ya's do. Don't worry though, some of you will eventually grow up.
Alot of people on here that have auto z's know how to drive manual if you haven't already noticed they chose the 5at for their own purpose so why the hating. If anything most manual drivers that think they can drive are the one's that are racing and then mis-shift and then come crying on my350z how your tranny is gone lol i've read to many of those posts. If your bored why your driving then maybe you have ADD there are drugs out for this now.
