Ok, so as many of you may know, before the car came out, i loved playing around on photoshop with the Z, and even made a few fake magazine adds. My first one got me into some trouble as it was posted on other forums, and people assumed it was real, (people were pissed cause i stated it had 300hp ect).

So I made this a few months ago as a joke. Yuichi pointed out a striking similarity with one of their new print adds. Check it out.....tell me it doesnt resemble (horizontal layout, B&W photo of little girl, white border, "Someday." on bottom left of photo, nissan logo bottom right)

I cant find the official Nissan add online, but i have the magazine right in front of me. (!)

Can you say lawsuit...."instead of huge cash sum, how about two twin turbos nissan?"

Its all over, but im looking at the April Automobile mag...about the middle.

for some reason I think I saw that add a long time ago in another mag... not sure how long ago though. Either early this year or late last year

 

Im 100% sure though, that my post came before Nissans print add. I remember Nissan anouncing the date they would release all the Z adds (TV, Print) and it was just a few months ago (winter). I made this pic back in September.

Not pissed, just find it funny that Nissan was reading my mind....or this forum

This was one of Nissans first ads, and was released in July/August '02 time frame, just after the press kits were sent out in July, and before the commercials hit TV in September.

 

I did a recreation for an art assignment awhile back. Done in pencil.
