Default Nissan 350Z Grand turismo Rare game for PS2

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...ory=11323&rd=1

Does anyone have any information on who this was released to???

I spoke with a friend over at Sony that is in charge of Submissions and was told that this never came through Sony US.

I have also heard that there where a couple of other version released for other cars including the WRX

It was part of a press info pack delivered just before the Z came out. There are a few people on the board that probably have it, I'm nearly positive JmanZ had one, can't think of the others.

Just unlock the Z in GT 3

Then you can use it on any track and any color.
Some fool on ebay is about to pay $120+ for it

I unlocked the 350z concept in GT3, but what is the difference w/ the press kit 350z cd for PS2? Is it the same game?

2003z told me that it was 1 track and the Z in every color.

The auction just ended. The guy payed $128 for it.

Hey 2003z how many pictures are on the disc and whats the music????

I may pick this up eventually but I aint paying no $100+ This guy could have bought Radiant Silvergun for that.

Actually, you can't change the color of the Z in GT3. You can only play it in the orange color of the first concept car.

That's one of the reasons I paid so much for this game (yes, I'm the one who won the auction). I want to test drive the Z in every color before I decide which one I want in real life. When you think about it, $128 is a small investment if it means being happy with my color choice when I pay $35,000 for a car. My wife and I had settled on the Brickyard, but it's not going to be available next year, and the one thing I don't like about it is the metallic flake. Now we're leaning toward the Daytona Blue, but the previous Z-cars I've owned have all been black. Ah, decisions, decisions...

Daytona Blue is metalic. There is a notice in the regular version of the game that says colors may not match the real colors. And, going to a large Z meet to check out the colors is free.

Ah well, you could always resell the game.

Yeah, I've seen all of the colors in person, thanks to the good folks here at my350z.com who live in the NY area. The problem is they all look so good. Someone else said it best -- I need a different color for every day of the week.

Is Daytona Blue as metallic as the Brickyard? I know it has the metallic flake, but I don't think it's nearly as much.

Even if the colors don't match the real cars, it's still the closest you can get to test driving all of the colors. GT is my all-time favorite series -- with their driving physics, my wife and I are going to spend enough time racing each other in our virtual Zs that the price is negligible.

It's not as metallic as brickyard. I was very close to ordering a brickyard but ended up buying the daytona when the opportunity arose.

Yeah, I'm almost finished with all gold professional and will move on to endurance soon. Had this game forever, take longer than forever to finish.

Sorry for the fool comment.

Anyway get DB that way there will be one less Brickyard on the road .

You just have to love the Brick. It looked Flat purple this morning when I woke up, the sun started to peek through and it had a purple w/flake thing going on, an hour ago as the sun came out it looked a little purplish black, and now with the sun on the back end it looks Root Beer....

That's ok, no harm done fp.

I had never heard of this disc before you mentioned it here, and I had no idea what price it had sold for in the past or how many of them there were floating out there -- I just knew I had to have it! If I overpaid then so be it, but when you love something, sometimes you act a bit irrationally.

Everything you said in your post is exactly what I do love about the Brick, and why my wife and I had been ready to get that color. But we won't be buying right now, and the Brick is sadly going away, so even if we come to the conclusion that we still want that color, it won't be available when we will be buying. Ah well.

hfm, I agree, the game has incredible depth. The thing I miss most from GT2 is the 240Z, and then some of the muscle cars from the 60s. I can't wait for GT4! I figure the Z version will help me get through the next 6-8 months until it comes out. Then we'll be able to get a group together and race in a game much better than Auto Modellista.

I bought a memory card off of ebay that has a 100% completion for GT3. Has all cars, all gold trophies, and around 3,000,000 in cash to upgrade any car with anything.
I know it's lazy, but their is no way I would've ever beat that whole game and I wanted to drive all the cars.
If anyone wants to mail me a memory card and a SASE with enough postage to mail it back, I'd be happy to copy it for you.
Just PM if interested

That sounds like a good story!

That's great news about GT4. I can't wait to be able to play such an excellent racing game online against other people!

Thanks for the offer, thackattk. That's very nice of you. I already have all the cars I want, though.
