will they charge an arm and leg? i thought id be better off going to a shop. while back perf. nissan would charge me bout $540 for install and alignment.
Planning on getting tanabe gf210's. any of you put springs on stock strut. I have an 05' with 26,000 miles. can i squeeze out 2.5 more years out of them if i drive the car about 7,000 miles a year or even less miles? i drive it only on weekends?
How about you install them yourself? No tools? The rear take roughly 20 mins to install, and the front probably about an hr. Cost "Free". Rent spring compressors from Advanced Auto parts, and you get your money back when you bring them back.
id rather pay to get it done, ill let the pros handle the suspension and ill just drive the car. ive had bad experiences doing it myself with my other cars in which ive ended paying double for my mistakes. Plus i dont have much time on my hands. But taking it to a shop familiar with 350'z would give me peace of mind.
the front you need a spring compressor. i'd recommend you get these done somewhere else. try west covina nissan or street image. they're both in west covina.
