Maybe take the STi to a performance tune shop and see if you can get a performance tune. Make sure the can copy and reinstall the original profile so that IF it doesn't perform better it goes back to original profile. The only thing with that is if Misi notices the reflash is dated different from the last time they saw it you might have an issue. At least, that is how I understands it. Rememeber the Misi techs might not be allowed to do this to meet EPA or company rules. If you bring up WOT in court ... they'll say "Is this a race car or do you race the car." If you say yes ... all bets are off and the mfg will not have to honor. Just be careful want you say concerning WOT issues.

My guess is to get past EPA a carpy profile had to be installed. Just my ideas on the problem.
Misi? You mean Subi? Mitsubishi makes Evo's, not STi's

I didnt have a hearing, Nissan North America volunteered to repurchase my car bc of all the problems without going to arbitration. There is more than enough info on this site about the lemon law and how to approach the situation. If you need any help with any part of it I still have all my paperwork and would be willing to help out in anyway I can. Here is my number if anyone would like to call me.

Hey Chris,

Appreciate your insight on the whole process and how long it takes.

I wish they had volunteered to just re-purchase mine instead of having to go to arbitration, but all they wanted to do is give me a "goodwill offer".

Oh well, 3 months is a good benchmark to work with.

Thanks again!!!

You might as well stick with a bike with all that bad luck you've been having

If this Lemon Law goes through I am gonna either get a G37 Coupe or wait for the new body to come out on the Z and pull the trigger on that. Until then.....

Chris
Sorry to hear. You won't know for sure when the new Z body comes out. So you may have to wait a long time.

Maybe you should get a used car that has a history of running properly.
