I was heading home from school, and was in a pretty good mood, met an amazing girl, talked after class for 15 mins, was cool. So on the way home i was starving and knew i didnt have dinner at home, so i was driving on rt 9.... its a 55 2 lane..... it turns into 3 lanes and goes uphill. Both people in each lane were going like 45.... so i was like ef it i get paid tomorrow, i havent floored it in a while hardcore because i was broke lol, so i switch lanes and leave everyones, just me in the 3 lanes and got it up to about 110. There was an onramp thats NEVER used, anyway a cop must have gotten on and flew up right behind me.

I totally didnt notice, he was literally 2 inches behind me, no radar or anything, and it was twilight out, if i would have tapped my brakes he woulda nailed me. I downshifted to 3rd and coasted down the hill, got to a red light and put my windows down. Light turned green and i took off casually, went through next light, and then got off 9 onto 537 and he turned into the mall..... never even had my stomach drop or heart stop feeling it was weird.

I was going to put my hand out the window like, sorry, or thanks, but i didnt wanna seem cocky, but i feel like he let me have a quick speed run because he knew my car was built for it. He did however pop his radar on for 5 seconds, i was doin 55 in a 50 by then so no biggy. In my accord i woulda gotten pulled over just for my tinted windows alone. Thought ide like to share.

im surprised he didnt do anything... here in south jersey they pull me over just to hassle me... and i have a good feeling its because of the Z because i am not bothered in any other car..

I started this one on purpose lol, it happened and i saw that post.

 

Ok..... uhh lol, no food at home and was STARVING, i didnt edit my post, it says starving, and i get paid tomorrow, meaning wasting a little gas on a 10 second speed burst wont kill my wallet. Open stretch that i sometimes do a quick speed burst on. I never go that fast especially on that road. 21 and no tickets, or being pulled for speeding. Last car had 240hp so not like it was hard for those 3 years. I usually cruise 5-10 over. Always thinking about gas mileage lol. And you all know 60 to 110 takes like 5 seconds lol, i got real lucky. Ive also yet to be hassled for tint or front plate. My 2 door accord, i got tint tickets all the time. Friend told me he got like 4 plate tickets in first month with his sti lol.
