Default How do you consider exterior mods?

we, Z owners know that the Z is good in performance wise, and it doesn't really require that much of add-ons to prove that it's a powerfull machine.

so, if you do exterior mods to your car (e.g. spoiler, 19"rims, diffuser, aftermarket front bumper, stickers "vinyl/decals"), would that make the Z a Show and no Go??

i think differently its decently quick but bolt-ons do nothing but it looks great the way it is and just needs some nice staggered work or volks a drop and maybe a wing and its a thing of beauty the rest should go 2 boost or full bolt-on spray

mine is a little harder to drive cause i need to roll the fenders to fit my tires in the back, but unless you live in speed-bump-land exterior mods dont make it all show and no go.Yeah its more money if you crack a v2 front bumper or your amuse rear, but hey its all in good fun.

I wouldn't say show and no go. I love the looks of the Z. I just want something that seperates me from most other Z's. I really like when some ask me what kind of car it is.

a little show on a stock car(wheels, front lip) is ok, but it helps to have a few performance mods.

a widebody on a stock engine would obviously be a no-no..IMO

Looking at the cars coming out now man it kinda would be. I.E the RL, that beast has 300 horses and 250 lbs. Im not saying it can beat the Z (yea right the Z=invincible) but new cars keep goin up. i say a balance between "show n go" is best.

We can't all drive around with cars that look exactly the same. Personalization is important, and that's why there are exterior mods.

Since you want show and no go, try empty bottles of nitrious oxide, color matching low-glows with/tire stem lights, neon windshield spray (drill it in), and a combat wing.

With respect, I could care less what you do or do not do with your car.

Personally it depends on the complexity and exhuberance of the body mods. Lip kits and clean lines (mostly stock) its not a "show w/ no go". Now enter the world of full replacements body panels and widebody then you're entering a more extreme type of modification world and you better have some type of motor work to back up your aggressive body kit. Just my $0.02.

IMO you can't go all-show-no-go with the Z. Its a quick car stock.
