Confused about the upcoming Z cars, help me understand...
I've read articles, searched the forum, and this is what I understand....
1. There's NO (as in Zero) difference between 07 & 08 350Z
2. The 2009 Z will basically the same car as the 07/08 but will be renamed the 370Z due to its 330hp 3.7L V6 (from the G37).
3. In 2011 we may see the next gen Z car.
Do I have this right, at least as we know it today? Will there be any (confirmed) changes to the 09 besides the larger V6?
Thanks for helping me understand.

The car will see no changes till 2011 when the new bodystyle comes out. There will not be a 370Z in 2009 like everyone wishes to believe.
Nissan has delayed that till the new body.

It isn't slower, the Z is still faster due to weight. They both dyno the same still as well.
Nissan does not want the Z to have a change when the new GTR, and many other new cars are coming out which will take away sales. They announced this recently.

Yes, that's right. The VQ35HR is a new motor, don't forget. It's got more horsepower and torque than the previous VQ35DE because of its dual intakes, as well as other minor revamps. The Z and the G are evenly matched.
