it's really not road rage that any of us get. .it's sort of like disgust or pained in the ***. .due to the fact that whether we drive slow or fast somehow some other driver's going to **** you off in some way shape or form. I believe it to be the unconsideration from other driver's to another.
Example:: If your doin 50 in the slow lane, and you see a car coming up on you fast, Just move out of the way~it it safer for a slower moving car to due to rather then make a faster moving car loose control to get around you.

People in the USA are spiteful and will do anything on the road to **** other's off. .hence why here in NJ there is no LAW to carry a weapon. .cause i know i'd be out of Bullets all the time!!!!

 

My road rage hasn't really changed since after I purchased the Z. The only difference now is that people seem to box me in and drive faster around me. The other day I'm cruising past some dude in a civic with the 2nd worst body kit I have ever seen(His bumper was flapping in the wind and the whole car was rattle canned). I needed to get around him so I could make a right turn coming up. He decides to speed up and drive right along side me. I then need to punch it, of which home boy is thinking race time, or slow down and get behind him so I can turn.

Usually an older man...driving some domestic POS

 

Why not just get behind him? Instead of getting in front of him just to slow both vehicles down in order to make a right turn.

My road rage is only directed towards unsafe, obnoxious drivers (like the OP) who endanger my life just by being stupid on the road... People pulling out in front of me when there's noone behind me for miles... People switching lanes without looking...etc. Also, I hate when two cars are traveling the same speed in different lanes... This causes a lot of traffic and in turn accidents. Just sh*t or get off the pot!

 

That's what I did, slowed down and got behind him, I'm not into street racing. I was cruising in the left lane at a higher speed than him and figured I would have plenty of time to get over once I passed him. I wasn't behind him and then decided to blow by him to get in front of him. I also was intending to get over well before my turn, hence not forcing him to slow down.

 

you have no idea how many GERK OFFS in NJ do this all the time. .pull out infront of you then do 2 miles an hour as your about to slam into them. .and the double lane same speed. .now thats where i get my rage from like morons. .do you see 50 more cars behind you. .sometimes i have to bite the bullet and take an exit lane to speed around them..i kno i kno. .im a gerk off to. .but hey i can't help it. .i need to be somewhere!!!!!

 

Surprisingly most drivers tend to be more curtious in Portland, There are still lots of A-holes though. I do some business travel to the bay area in California, and the driving is a lot different. Average speed is 10 miles per hour faster and drivers are very agressive and don't think twice about making risky moves on the highway. The speed is obviously a plus, but someone cutting you off at 75mph is not good times.

Are u serious? I get mad because everyone is speeding and im trying to do no more than 60. I'm coming from a screaming honda S2000 so the torque puts me at ease, every neon, civic, eclipse etc. feels they have to test out what they can do against me, i just roll the windows down and laugh at their stupid asses, no point possibly breaking my car trying to prove that they should have gotten a job so they could buy a sports car! I work hard for the money, why waste it speeding past van and vics?

 

No matter what I drive, (In lovely Sacramento, CA) people here just drive slow and leave a 100 car gap in between their car and the car in front of them. And when you pass people legally, ( on a one lane hwy ) they get pissed or speed up and not let you pass? WTF?

why would you shut off traction control?

 

When I had my Mustang, I'll admit I had the same mentality that I felt I had to show up every clown in a civic with a coffee can exhaust.

Now that I have a Z, I feel like I am above that childish, teenage garbage. I know that the Z can walk all over plenty of cars, and the streets are NOT the place to show it.

The Z is a classy, well designed sports car that commands respect. Treat it with such, and it will return the favor.

 

I am ashamed to own a Z right now.

 

 

Funny how the guy says people are slow in the other cars, I like the Z, i am picking mine up next week hopefully. but my mustang cobra with the traction control slowing me down still puts lengths on Z's easy.

 

TCS is slowing you down? can't u just turn it off. .?
