Yikes, I'm with you afr0puff... here I am every other weekend or so cleaning my Z, taking care of my baby, and I'm sooooo f*cking tempted to try this although I've never done anything like this in a car before. The most I've done is some fishtailing (and that was on accident once!).

I read this forum too much. Naughty things enter my mind. "Officer, you don't understand, there were voices... VOICES I tell you!"

Like they do in all the movies... Going in reverse, turning, then you are facing forward?
FYI - That move was invented and perfected by jim rockford of the tv hit series "the rockford files" (aka james garner) from back in the 70's. and yes he was driving a firebird!

I loved that show

Default You wanna see this done!

This move was done perfectly by a Z on the show "Fastlane"...you can probably download the clip on KaZaa or something.

Krista Allen (one of the two **** girls on Anger Management) was the driver (not really) so it made it even sexier!!!

It's really easy to do, but it isn't exactly easy on the drivetrain/transmission. You'd be better off renting a car for a day and trying it in that.

Also, to everyone, make sure your tires are not close to death.

I haven't tried it (still looking for a beater), but I don't think it's that hard. I remember reading an article about the bomb-proof car that was built to escort George Bush. It said that he got to test drive it, and he was doing j-turns. If that dummy can do it, anyone can. But he probably practices it a lot when he gets drunk.
