Sucks man..sorry to hear about this. However I feel your pain. Been there...done that....3 freakin times. Drivers here in AZ, especially young chicks, cant drive with a ****.

Finally got it Dec 5. -- 8 weeks exactly from the date of the wreck.

Due to bad weather here in Kansas, 2 snowstorms & 2 ice/freezing rain storms in the last 3 weeks. I haven't driven it since the day got it back.

However, the shop did an excellent job. I told the owner to take his time and do it right. I was in no hurry and I did not want them to rush the job.

When the weather is better, I''ll take it out of the garage and post some pics.

Here's my damage. Happened last week





In this video you can see how busy the highway is. Right at the busiest moment (around 8pm) this girl hits my car at 65 MPH and make me do 360-540 degrees. I was lucky enough not to hit anything. I stepped out of the Z scratchless. 350Z



Just a question, does anyone think they (ins company) will total my car? It's fully drivable and airbags haven't deployed. But again it's a 03 with 69K miles. So, it's retail value isn't too great.

 

It doesn't look quite as bad as mine. I don't think it will be totalled. They total at 73% of retail.

 

Finally, aweee I cant wait to see pics . Its always nice to see another 350z back in the game .

 

Agree on that note. Driving is a little tougher but it can be done. Throw a little weight in the back and take off the 19s and good to roll. Of course, I am not really listening to my own advice and picked up a 1988 grand marquis for $500. After pulling the Z off insurance, I ended up saving money.

Not to thread jack but I got clipped right before the holiday. She claims her foot slipped off the break. $600 to repair the bumper!

guess so, last june it was me when an old fart ran a red light makin a left turn, then last week my bud in his silverstone s2k got hit too.

 

People in AMERICA. . DO NOT KNOW HOW TO DRIVE!!!. .I mean there are a FEW amazing driver's out there. . but when we have a country where people come in from another country driving a CAMEL, HORSE, or DONKEY. . .what do you expect when Handing them a CAR!!!!!!. . .and Old PeoPle forget about. .after 70. .just walk. or Rascal yourselves around. . .

 

Maybe I'm extra old school, but I thought once your rear quarter panel was badly damaged, they totalled the car. If my car took that kind of hit, I wouldn't want it back!!
