I use manual. Auto climate control is for newbs that don't know how to properly shift a manual climate control.

And I wish the Z would stop turning on my AC when I'm not looking... That little SOB...

Auto virtually all the time. Perfect temperature control in a small cabin like the one on the Z.

I was about to rip the OP a new one for starting another one of these threads. Auto CC all the way, although in the winter, I'll usually kill the A/C because it seems to keep the air too cool vs. no A/C, even with the temp set to the same point.

I take it easy on my compressor by rev matching the fan when I change to air conditioning. I use the ball of my hand to thumb knuckle it.

Granny shifting, not double-clutching like you should; you're lucky that 100 shot of refrigerant didn't blow the welds on that intake

^ Look at this guy, 6 posts and he's already talking like dumbass. Thank you captain obvious, we know how the AC robs power. The question is, does it suck more gas as well

I still have no clue why people are trying to save fuel by driving w/o AC or worst, taking out their AC so that the car runs lighter.

Back to the topic, manual control for me. I like to turn off the AC before powering down the car. The previous owner probably left the AC on and that is probably why there is a moldy smell to it when it's turned on.

Auto in Spring, Summer, and Fall... Manual (sometimes but not all the time) in winter... to handle windshield fog-up and "force" the fan to run in high-mode.
