ive had a clear bra on my car since they day i bought it not one ding on the hood or on the front form a rock chip. If you don't plan on changing your front bumper anytime soon its the say to go. if you have a clear bra the paint wont change color either ive had mine for 3 years my paint has not changed colors and the clear bra material is still clear as day 1.

So driving something that looks like a clown mobile doesn't matter much either?

Genuine 3M. Shouldn't cost more than $200 to install.

Heck for $300-350 I'd do it. Does anyone know where you can get this installed properly without bubbles and bevelled edge for $200 in the SF Bay Area?

We're talking 9 total pieces....

BUMPER (2pcs)
HOOD (1pcs)
Headlight (2pcs)
Mirrors (4pcs)

I had mine installed in the bay area by Daniel at Transparent Bra (www.transparentbra.com) for a bit less than $600. He did an awesome job and has done a ton of Zs. I don't think he'll install a kit other than the one he uses (VentureShield) but it sounds like the VentureShield is the best out there at the moment anyway. Might want to give him a try.

Check out the Northern California sub-forums. You're not going to get it installed for as little as $200 though. Well maybe if you bought all the pieces/materials yourself.

The messed up part is getting a rock chip ON TOP of the clear bra line...now that's annoying!

My solution?? Well, I'm always super busy at work so for a quick fix I was thinking... Blue Painters tape... and plenty of it.
I will most likely tape the front up to the first half of the hood.
Will it look funny?... yes... but as long as the paint stays in good shape thats all that matters.
Does anyone else have any better ideas??

PS: I did this when I owned my Lancer Evolution and it helped.
Thanks in advance!!
The really sad part is that I wouldn't even be surprised if the Blue Painters tape damaged the paint when you took it off!

If you happen to live in Florida we have a nasty little insect that are called Love Bugs, they swarm in the millions, without a bra on your car for love bug season your paint will be completely destroyed as the acid in their body's eat through the paint http://www.ehow.com/way_5388039_tips...s-off-car.html
