I'm beginning to think Pacific Nissan are a buncha morons. If you ordered on 4/20 you wouldn't be in the first allotment period. I have a feeling that are yanking peoples chains and they above all else are totally uninformed. I'm going to have to go down there on Monday again to check into the VIN situation.

Ordered in May. Delivery will probably be in Sept. - Oct., but haven't heard a damn thing yet. Almost $1000 below MSRP. Some of you must be jealous, huh?

Just got back from Roche Harbor on San Juan Island and kayaked for three hours through the straits and between the islands. This is an absolute must-do considering it was $49 each person for my wife and I. Just awesome. No Orcas though but assorted other sealife. Did I say it was awesome

Anyhow, dv_johnson idea sound good.

Damn my arms are sore.

Glad you and your wife had a good time, was the weather nice up there? BTW your arms may be more sore tomarrow...been there done that. The worst was the six and 1/2 hour drifting trip that my fiance and I did, he fly-fished and I navigated the boat to whatever side of the river he wanted and negotiated the rapids as well. The only thing that hurt more than my arms, was my rear ( I had to sit on our cooler to see where we were going) and my cheek due to the barbed hook he casted incorrctly and when he pulled back to cast he had my cheekOUCH...It was real interesting trying to get a barbed hook out without too mch damage to my face..needless to say I don't go flyfishing while drifting rivers with him any longer. It seems he was unable to fish and row at the same time..go figure.So much for sitting back in the boat and reading a good book..that did not happen.I healed up just fine.

Has anyone anymore info on Pacific Nissan. Are their estimates anywhere close to accurate? I just can't believe my 4/20 order is tentatively set to arrive Sept 2. Needless to say I'd like to know for a number of reasons re: prep and financing.

Consider that Sep 02 really means September 2002. It is entirely possible your car might arrive as late as Sep 30 and that is within reason - barely, though, for a late April pre-order. I did not order from Pacific.

It will be delivered when it gets here and not a day before - rep15 words of wisdom.
