I was wondering if there was a kill stories section. would be cool.

I never said it had to be illegal But theres absolutely no section for it. it would definatley be cool to read how the Z pairs up with other cars.

The Street Racing/Kill forum was removed a while back. Too much bad behavior and it wore out it's usefullness and it's welcome.

whats bench racing? i wasnt making implications, i thought the only sections were, the mods, the different types of z's, and the main 350z section x_x i'm still a noobie to this forum..sorry again guys

 

there is a huge kill section in the PM section if you are a premier member.

There are so many mod Zs and other Mod cars that there's no point in comparing.

 

No one ever beat a RSX thats for sure.

 

I used to be a Top-10 bench racer until my density attitude got adjusted.

LOL. There are always comments about the station wagon. Hell, I have never beaten the station wagon.

 

Bench racing is "theoretical racing", i.e. sitting around on a bench debating which is faster. Like "will my 350Z with a Turbonetics beat a Civic with big fart-can?" Those kind of posts degrade almost as bad as the actual street race threads do.

The Drag forum regulars got tired of all those threads cluttering up the forum so they're frowned own now. People only want to see timeslips - the proof is in the puddin' as the old saying goes.

 

i remember those days when the kill stories section existed.

it eventually turned into the spoiled kids getting z's and crashing them forum.. sigh

Personally I miss the kills section. Despite the arguing and whatever else, I found the stories and videos to be quite entertaining.

 

I don't street race, never have (I'm too much of a chickens**t), but c'mon mods what up with banning a forum dedicated to street racing? You and I both know that plenty of members do it...no naming any names. Sure its dangerous and sure its not smart, but the entire import culture was built on it... censorship = socialism

 

It went away because of lack of moderation. I volunteered numerous times to moderate it (and so did others) but it didn't happen. Too many bench racers would post whatever BS and you'd get a few BS kill stories as well. Lots and lots of arguing and apparently deaths due to street racing were blamed on the kill section (don't know how). You also had a bunch of anti-street racing people coming in and talking all kinds of garbage too (even though the rules clearly stated that if you don't like street racing to stay out) which started up needless flame wars. Again, all due to lack of moderation. Plus, some of the higher ups on the site deemed that section unfit so it disappeared.

It was, however, one of the top three most entertaining sections of the forum.

Oh well.
