I do city driving mostly and get EXACTLY what the digital gauge reads. 20.3 city, with the occassional spirited romp on the go-pedal. 27-28 highway. 15-16 is too low i would think. Get that thing looked at IMO.

sh*t i think i should be really happy with my mpg because i consistently get around 20, and rarely ever shift before 4k and atleast redline line it few times a day. btw i drive around 50 miles a day, around 30 highway and rest local.

Ditto. I'm averaging 20 over 23,000 miles. My actual (yes, I'm a stats dork!) is extremely close to what the gauge says.

I usually get an average of 21 with a mix of highway and city. I just took a 2000 mile trip over Thanksgiving and I averaged 26.5 who whole way. If your mileage is that low im guessing you hardly ever make it onto the freeway right?

you can't always go by the computer reading. the other night it showed my car getting 40+mpg--freaked me out because i had been getting only 20mpg. then, it slowly went down to about 31--which is realistic. but i have honestly gotten about 30+mpg on the interstate. the average around the city though is about 18-23mpg, depending on whether or not i redline it a time or two.

20-22, both doing the math in my noggin and thats what the digital guage says.

On another note, can we suspend people from the forums that post dumbass comments like "use the search" or pictures like were posted? That would make reading this forum a lot more tolerable.

It usually stays firm on 13, but that's because I always have my foot in it. The other day, though, on the highway using cruise control, I ACTUALLY got 28 miles to the gallon.

Every person on this site & world makes mistakes everyday of their lives.
Yet they go thru life thinking they are superior or something special, ya right!
