I believe mine says 22.4 right now, but I haven't been hitting it too hard. And that's driving on I-95 (aka satan's a-hole) most of the time.

Same here. On the open road, sipping the gas I usually get 28.5-29.9mpg on long road trips. But, just driving the speed limit or 5 over like a normal driver I get 23-25mpg mixed city/highway.

I never shift at 3000rpm but if you know how to adjust how much pressure you put on the gas pedal, you can pound gears hard at times for fun and save gas for freeway driving. I think gas mileage is all to do with habit of your driving!!!
By the way, anyone interested in body kits, carbon fiber parts or lambl door kits at cheap prices? I can hook it up!!!

Thread jacked!
Lambo doors ftl. Carbon fiber ftw.
22 mostly city driving & punching redline almost every time I climb the freeway. Just plan farther ahead while driving, such as trying to time the lights when they turn green. They all have a pattern or sensor, and if you are a 9-5er like a lot of America, then you should travel the same road over and over and over, and learn the most economic way to drive that same path. Speed, accel, and timing of the stop lights is critical. That's annoying to see people speeding into a light that just barely turned red. Oh yeah, and also prolonged warm-up kills gas mileage.

I've seen 28 on the highway. I average about 23 with about a 70% highway 30% city mix.

14.6

Four miles to work and back. Ten minutes each way. Light traffic.

Short trips. 1800 miles on car.

Everyone else's mileage is higher.

^^^ Heck, with that type of commute the car barely gets warmed up. ;-)
I wish I had one of those jobs. Wait, I guess I do when I work from home.
0 Mileage to work takes all the fun out of commuting in the Z. he, he, he....

Mainly just back and forth to work. About a 15 minute drive in town. I average about 16-16.5 MPG.

Only real road trip I have done in her was coming back from Reno and drving at 70-80 MPH on I-80 I got 28 MPG.
