16 mg if Im only going to work and back ( I work about 5 miles round trip from home city driving only). Hwy I have gotten as high as 31 mpg over 250 mile trip. Today I noticed how much traffic really does play into the equation. I had to run an errand for work. I made 90 percent of the lights ( as in came up on traffic but didnt have to come to a complete stop) and (using 6th gear) managed 19.4 in the city over 15-17 miles of driving.

Default Gas milage

If I can stand to cruise at 55 mph, I can get 32 mpg. At higher highway speeds it drops to close to 27-29 mpg. Cruising around town drops the mileage to the low 20s. I have a JWT popcharger, Nismo headers, and Nismo exhaust to help with the breathing. Gas milage will also vary depending on the gas you use and the condition of the road you are on. Of course the lead foot syndrome will really drop the mpg.

How the heck do you get 32mpg if you cruise at 55? I can cruise at 55 easily because that's the speed limit here, and I get like...15.5 and I'm pretty sure I don't have a lead foot. The only way I get good gas mileage is if I tap the acceleration very very lightly.

Most I have ever gotten is during my trips from Orlando FL. to Northwest VA. made about 3 up and back trips so far.
26-28 mpg, avg 75 mph

Worst I have gotten is during summer with AC going all the time 16-18 mpg, stop and go traffic.

Normal average is around 20-22 mpg

Around traffic i get about 17-20. BUT, if i cruise at 60 in 6th (6MT) i can get 30-34.

I coasted down a hill and got 99.9 MPG. I took a picture with my phone but i dont know where the picture went.

If you're getting 13-17 MPG avgerage, im guessing you either have an auto (cant put in 6th gear whenever you want) or you just love to go fast.

I get 23-27 when shifting at 2-2250 except 1st (2500). If i shift at 2500 in all gears, I get 21-23. Its wierd how much a few rpms matter in my z. And whn i run it, i will loose about 1.5-3mpg from what i started with in the morning.

Mike

PS- ive run my car hard for nearly an entire tank before, over threedays, and i didnt see less than 18 on the guage and lowest figure i worked myself was 17.7mpg.
