Default The problem with 21 year olds owning a Z...

Well, today it was the first snow fall in Massachusetts. I was going to put my 3 month old 2007 PPW touring coupe to sleep tomorrow, but decided to take her out for once last whip in the snow for some late night parking lot drifting. After about an hour of swinging my *** about I start to leave the parking lot and head home. It so happens I try one last go and end up drifting into a fence.

Later door.
Later side sill.
Hello scratched tail light, trunk, and rear fender.

Luckily I have a buddy that does body work :/

Pics tomorrow.....

Anyone know if you can buff scratches out of the tail light?

There have been a lot of these "damaged" Z threads this week.

Maybe my advice, in this instance, would be slightly unneeded, but I'll give it in the hopes that it will be used:

Buy a 240SX, Mazda RX7 FC, or other similarly low(er) priced FR (front engine, rear drive) car. Get it running decently. Drift and destroy. Remove decently running engine, replace body with another shell, repeat.

If you need a shell, I know where a 1987 Mazda RX7 shell is for 250 dollars. That = good destructo-material.

Capische?

As soon as snow falls, I give my Z a nice bath, then put it to sleep.

Could you "move" at 17?

no. But if you have a Z, you should be disciplined enough to wait. Patients and discipline are the path to enlightenment. Even if your sixteen, two years is merely a glimpse of what we perceive as a mortal lifetime. and if your 16, why the f*** do you have a Z? (dont even get started with me . I dont even know why I have a Z, but i do . Get off my back...)
