i think you did the right thing man. Even though it was a risky, who knows what the fate might have be, after all he did have a loaded weapon and attempted to shot you. Good job.

Would have been funny if you pulled a "Jeepers Creepers" on the *****... you know in the movie where they run the creature over, reverse it and do it again.

Glad ur okay man. You are one badass ****!

I know what your saying about military towns. when I was stationed at ft bragg a buddy of mine had an argument with his wife, and he ended up goin out to the bar where he proceeded to get a little to drunk to drive home. so he decided to sleep it off. well a couple hours later while he's still passed out in the driver seat of his truck in the parking lot of the bar a guy breaks his window out and tries to drag him through the window of the his F-150. he struggles to start the truck and throw it in reverse. once he gets it in reverse he floors it and in the process the would be car theif gets thrown under the truck. my buddy said he felt a slight bump but never stopped to find out what happended. later the next day he's watching the news with his wife when they announce that a man was crushed to death at the same bar. after an hour or so he called the cops and turned himself in. the whole thing was wrote up as a justifyable homicide, but I've heard and see many really F'ed up things around military bases.

people don't realize it's not the military that causes most of the issue's it's the element that feeds off of the military

I'm with you. I keep my Glock M22 .40 cal in my top right compartment (behind the pass. seat). I have kept my Ruger P85 9mm in my Pathfinder for many years.

I haven't needed them yet, but have had a couple of nights when I felt it necessary to place them in easy reach just in case.

Exactly right. I was stationed at Camp Lejune NC, Camp Pendleton CA and 32nd St naval station in San Diego. All of them have their share of pawn shops and strip clubs and shady places that try to feed off young military personnel out on their own.

Have you seen that movie Jeepers Creepers (first movie) - well you should have backed up over him like 10 times, then did a small burnout on his face.

But seriously that's pretty scary, I would probably shat my pants and gave him the keys and then called the cops.

I mean I really love my car but I wouldn't risky my life over it, I would consider pushing him out if I was in a buggati veyron or something.

Glad you're OK and the bullet ended up in the car and not your cranium.

If you had your .45 on you would you have attempted to draw down on the guy who already had a gun in your rib cage? I've seen fast before but never that fast. The whole point of CCW kind of fails when you let the bad guy surprise you and put a gun into your vitals.

Be more careful out there.
nvm.. I found KPT at http://www.kptechnologies.com/
