Default "Z Pimp Factor"

After 10 months of the Z being on the road, I've noticed something... the Z still turns many heads. (maybe not as many, but still a hell of a lot)

3 Days ago while getting an oil change, a man with a GTP (I think it was the new GTP..not positive) Pontiac came up to the mechanic and asked who's Z it was, he pointed at me. I end up talking to the man for roughly 30 minutes about the Z.. he was very impressed with it.

2 Nights ago while driving, a VERY hot blonde in a RSX pulled up next to me and commented on the car.. she kept saying "God I love your car...".. I really wish I asked for her number and offer her a ride..

Just the other night I stopped to get gas. As I filled up, 3 adults who were leaving walked to my car and looked at it and asked questions.

Today went to get gas with John, 4 people from the gas station just stared at the car as I pulled in.

All in all, I'd just like to say I believe the Z will stand out of the crowd no matter what cars come out. Sure the new EVO and STI are faster, have AWD, ect ect, but the Z has much more "pimp" factor IMO. Perfect example is it's stand out design, as if it were a Porsche. I'm glad I bought my Z...

Nelly sums it up pretty good
"She only want me for my pimp juice...I think I need to let it loose".

I still get a lot of kids pointing and looking, and extremely obnoxious mini-van racers. Is that "pimp"? Hehe.

Recently, my wife dropped off her Mazda to have the 60k maintenance done. I followed her to give her a ride home.

Pulling into the Mazda dealership attracted a crowd of salesmen.
I said "No, I'm not here to trade it in". They were interested in chacking it out, even asking if they could sit in the driver's seat.

Yeah, I agree, it still draws a lot of attention.

i still remember the first Z I saw on the road and in person. It passed me down the street and I made sure I maneuvered into position to be beside it at the next light. I waved at the driver while we waited for the light and he rolled down his window after searching for the window control momentarily (brand new Z driver obviously). "Nice car dude!" I say. He grins widely, say "Thanks" and then takes off in a shot on green. Right then I knew I wanted a Z.

I went to visit my friend at his diner and as I pulled into the parking lot I noticed a Subaru pull in behind me too...as I got out and walked in, I saw 2 young dudes in the Subaru drive slowly past my Z to check it out then drove away...lol. Never had that happen before.

There are alot of Z's in Houston since we have like at least 7 Nissan dealerships in town and I see at least 1 Z on my 27 mile commute to work everyday. Ive had my SS Performance for 1 month now and the stares and questions still keep on rolling in. This car is a hoot!

For the first time today, I took my Z up to a local 50's diner that has a car show on Saturday nights. It's mainly oldie cars but also a few nice looking new cars. The honda's and ricey cars as such also come but they really don't want them on the lot, so they hang in the group down the road. Well I pulled in the lot and sat by my car most of the night, because I was afraid to leave it with so many people around. It got SO much attention that I couldn't get out of the place. I sat there parked for hours.. It got to the point where people kept asking to see under the hood, so I ended up keeping it up. Point is, even with sooo many nice looking cars there, it still got a TON of attention. Oddly enough, the V.P. of Fidanza saw my car and left me a card. Nice guy, couldn't believe he was there. I saw him roll out with his new Vette. I didn't mind the attention one bit! I agree with the comment about the EvO's and STI's, they might be quicker, but who cares. I wouldn't be caught dead in one, and they will never grab the looks the Z does.

Yeah, the way I like to think of it is this...

If you want just a raw track car, stictly for speed, dont care about interior, or luxuries, go with a STi or Evo.

If you want speed with style, comforts, stand alone designing, and a still very good track car with still enough power to make you say "Oh $hit!" after you full throttle it, the Z is the best car.

I get stares and questions asked at my local Nissan service station. The last time I got my oil changed, this group of people who were waiting for their cars to be serviced, kept on staring and asking questions about my Z. Its a good thing but sometimes it gets annoying

I was out driving to the movies after playing pool around 12:45 am and at a light, my friend was in my car and my other 2 friends in a green 3000GT. We were turning left and my cars to the right of me where these hot blondes in a little white car - don't remember what it was. The one in the passenger seat starts yelling at us about how much she likes the car, takes off her shorts and moons us - and we got the FULL view. My friends were like," We going out in this car every Saturday night at 1 to the beach!!"
P.S. - it was a very nice @$$

Last night i went to the city and parked almost in front of the In-n-Out Burger. As i was getting out of the car i noticed this guy with his kids staring and when we start walking away he made very nice comments. When we got back there was a couple checking it out up close looking at the interior...
This was just the most recent one, because wherever i go, everyday, i get this type of reaction!

The first 3 or 4 times I refueled, someone came over and started asking questions. But that was last year, and this year, not a one.
