As a person who's lived in Socal pretty much all his years it's hard to imagine being in a situation where you have so little control over your car Never drove over ice before, only VERY light snow at Mountain High/Big Bear

The rims are a staggered(20 x 10, 20 x 8.5) set of Donz wheels. http://www.donzwheelz.com/
I paid $900 for the complete set which included Khumo tires from a guy off G35driver.com
They were practically brand new(no curb rash,no nothing) and are normally $400 a wheel.
It was a great deal. I get a lot of compliments.
However the rear drivers side rim lip got smashed in from the accident.
....But from now on, I'm going strictly 2 or 3 piece wheel.
They're easier to fix.

I just purchased," Good Year Eagle F1 All Season" tires. They're supposed to be new type Eagles for light snow. Tread wear rating is 175. Ultra performance (summer)!! I'll see how they respond this winter if it snows here in N.C.
