If I have flip flop on, I end up taking the left one off to work the clutch.

Hey everyone...yes noob. anywayz...

i've been thru this forum non-stop in-regards to rims/tire subjects and felt looking around @ different subjects. have to say this one was funny because i've been thinking the same with my Z. i live in cali and pre-fer sandles (i relax in heat and hate putting on and off shoes soo much since i'm always on the go) but i have to admit, driving manual in 6-speed gets irritating @ times...but you have to admit, when you thrown on shoes to drive, you feel like your mega-pro with clutch IMO...

I rarely wear flip flops, even to work. But when I do i never wear them in the car. I like to drive bare foot. I get a better feel for the car I think. Almost like driving shoes. Thats why their shoes are so thin and light.

I also slip mine off and drive barefoot, I actually like driving the Z barefoot more than with shoes. More pedal control because I can feel the clutch vibration, brake/gas pressure etc. more.

I imagine people who can drive with flip flops on have small feet, my 14's get wedged in with the first clutch depression...I would for sure crash if I left them on.

I would imagine the scenario is:

Cops pull you over for something else, and if you can't get your shoes on before the cop gets to your window, you're busted.

I hate driving with flip flops but love wearing them I think i am going to leave a pair of "driving" shoes in my car and just change haha. Getting a triple plate clutch put in and don't feel like working bare-foot or flip flops with that

I believe puma's in general make everyone feel like a pro when it comes to driving a manual. I have wide feet but with my narrow *** pumas on I feel like I can beast shifting.

To the flip flop haters... here's a scenario with your hot date...

Her: "Take me to the beach with your Z"
You: "I can't"
Her: "why not?"
You: "I can't drive with flip flops on, I have to walk on the beach with tennis shoes on"
Her: "No thanks, cya!"
