Default vandalized..

took the car to the dealership the other day. come to find out none of the hoses had leaks in the cooling system, but someone stabbed holes in my radiator. i'm more than pissed, because now that sets me even farther back for buying exhaust. now i'm stuck on trying to find an aluminum radiator. i'm looking for something with a simple install. direct bolt-in if possible. but so far all i'm finding is radiators for the 6 speeds. where can i find something for an 07 automatic trans?s

This happened on the dealership premises? You should hold them accountable for it.

No. I assume vandalism was the dealer’s diagnosis for leaking coolant. Very weird.

most dealerships and body shops are responsible for theft and vandalism. I have an old official nissan dealer service receipt right here and it states in bold near where I signed that says "NOT RESPONSIBLE INCASE OF VANDALISM, THEFT, ETC ON PROPERTY OR IN BUILDING".

Oh, just read it more closely; thanks for pointing out.

Sorry to hear that, OP. Comprehensive insurance coverage protects against vandalism. Have you tried that route?

haven't really talked to the dealership any further. they're estimating almost 1,000 to fix it. for that i'd rather get an aftermarket radiator. but does anyone know the different between a radiator for mt and at? would it be possible to make a mt radiator work for the at?

they said there are two pretty decent size holes punctured in it. as for right now i've yet to come across any radiator for the auto trans. so i guess i'll just have to cough up the money for a stock radiator. the sad thing, my mom tried to say it was my fault cause i always tear up vehicles. and i was parked at my JOB.

+1

I've got an extra OEM 5AT radiator laying around. I don't suppose I really need to keep it.

Sorry to hear about that.
I would look around at a junkyard, ebay, or search google

http://www.1motormart.com/parts/2/ni...ement+Radiator

This is an 03-06 radiator, but Im sure they could find you one for an 07. That or just go with an aftermarket radiator, more $$$ though (koyo, blitz, greddy etc).
