Am I the only one trying to keep the Z forever?
I'm another planning on keeping it 'forever'.
Have had mine 5 years, 3 months, 29 days with 19,847 miles.
Rule #1. Never, ever drive it in bad weather. Neither snow nor rain.
Rule #2. Keep it garaged.
Rule #3. Keep the proper maintenance schedule.
My goal, have under 100,000 after 20 years.
See? Pretty simple.

Actually, I drive it weekly, but only on week-ends. I've taken it on several road trips --the longest was from Kansas City to Key West.
The reason the mileage is relatively low is because it's not a daily driver, it's a pleasure car. I drive about 200 miles a week to work and back. If the Z was my daily driver, I'd really have a lot of miles by now.

I purchased my 03 touring Z used about 3 years ago w/ 34K miles. Now has about 80K.
It's my daily driver amd I enjoy it daily. Garaged when not ood at work and I take very good care of the car. I average ~10 years per car. Sold my 20 year old Porshe when I bought the Z. It was still in excellent shape when I sold it. No dings, no dents. No lssues inside either. Dash always protected. Always changed oil @ 3K miles
Take care of the car and it will take good care of you.

I want to keep mine for the long haul. When it's paid off in ~2 years I will buy something at least 4-seater for daily driving, then maybe actually start abusing the Z at the track.
well at first i wasn't fond on the idea. since i never really kept a car for more than 3 years. but my fiance conviced me that once the 350z is paid off i can just convert it to my project car (instead of buying a project car - dsm power!). then get a luxury car or something
she even said that the 350z can be our child's first car... WE DON'T EVEN HAVE KIDS YET!!!!! lol... its going to be one hell of a first car..

109k miles now, placed 2nd in its second time attack, many trackdays and autocrosses. Hopefully i can get another 90k out of this motor. She is getting replaced this summer, only replaced as a daily driver, and then i can start to get serious with her. I will have htis Z till i destroy it, then i'll get another Z.
