Default BAD day, Z down

wrecked my z this morning.

looks like I'm getting new rear swaybar, two new wheels and tires for passenger side, and my side skirt re-painted

nothing major. I fought the curb and the curb won.

nothin like wrecking your car at 0530 right after you get relieved from your 12 hour watch.

good thing is USAA is actually pretty quick with their clames

You're from Baltimore? Isn't the Northeast getting hit with a bad storm today?

You'll also need a more comprehensive suspension assessment if you hit that hard. Breaking rims and bending swaybars usually mean more damage underneath. Remember that the Z has an intricate multi-link suspension and only a frame machine will tell the entire story.

yea, they're gonna be replacing alot of the suspension on the right rear. I didn't break the rims, it didn't even flatten the tire. just scrapped the hell out of it, lol. yea, I had duty this weekend so 12 hour watches from 1730 to 0530 three days in a row. it was raining earlier but I'm in south baltimore, no snow. it should be going by early next week.it sucks but it was just one of those things. I'll post pics in just a bit. thank god it's just a 500 deductible.

I feel for ya man. There are times I have been stuck at the hospital for more than 24hrs... Really sucks. I am glad I don't live far away. Definately get it all checked out like that was mentioned above.

no, slick roads and it stepped out on me right after I pulled out of base. I didn't have room to correct it because of on coming traffic. I could've avoided curb but then I'd risked hitting someone else while correcting. thought it was better to just mess my car up then possibly hurt anyone else.

still sucks but as long as no one was hurt, the car can be fixed. that's why I pay insurance.
