Default Dealer said 04 has HID but it Doesn't?

So i bought an 04 base. The dealer sticker said it had HID and I asked multiple times because I know base doesn't come with HID. The salesman assured me that if it said it on the sticker it was right. I def don't have HID. Is there anything i can do?

I dont think the base model has any HID at all. It doesnt matter what the dealer says. You can pull out Nissan of North America specs online or somewhere just to prove it!

Hmm...bring the sticker back with the car and demand they put HID back in or they'll hear from your lawyer. If they sold the car "as-is" and the description said it has HID, it better does or they've just failed to deliver what was promised.

if you DID, you could have seen the HID light lit up VS halogen one.
But what did the dealer say on the specs? 04 Base model: have HID?

Similar thing happened to me when I bought my used 626 a couple of years ago. The sale information did not match the actual equipment, and the dealership did not want to make it right. I contacted the DMV, as they regulate car sales. After filing a consumer complaint, the dealership was forced to make the car match the sale/promotional information.

So... You stated you bought a Base and that you knew the Base did not come with HIDs. Sounds to me like you're just wanting to raise a stink and get something out the dealer for free because they made a simple mistake; that doesn't say much about your character, IMO.

Have your dad dress up in a suit and tell them that he is your lawyer. Then demand them to take off a few hundred or you will press charges. Dont know if it will work but its worth a try

It's because they stated that the car had HID's and he clearly asked several times if it did and they told him yes and the car really didn't. That's false advertisement.

i did know that a base doesn't USUALLY come with HID that's why I asked MULTIPLE times. I thought it could have been an upgrade. I'm not trying to stick them on a simple mistake. I am looking at the price to upgrade my current setup and upset that I was pretty much lied to even after I asked at least three different times.

DISCLAIMER: i did turn on the light and try to check myself. It was daylight and i couldn't tell. I've never had a car with HID before

i'm looking into a 4600K or 6000K but am thinking why should i have to shell out extra money when they said it had it. It was actually a big factor in me choosing the car.

if i am correct you thought you was getting a Enthusiast+ wich means you would have got HID+cruise control+LSD+traction control. Those things are missing off a base.

If i am wrong i am sorry but i am pretty sure i am right cuz thats how it was for 2005 and i think it was the same for 2004
