When you place an order with a credit card you are committed for the funds then. The seller has no obligation to notify you of a date that your card is charged.

Backorders and delays are common. One way to avoid this is a written note on your order that reads “If you cannot ship on or before date, cancel my order and return all money.”

The telephone is a great toll but gives neither you or the seller anything in writing. E-mail does.

I agree. I have had no issues with thenismoshop and I've placed massive bulk orders from them. Jenny@Westcovina FTW!

I have to agree..why in the world would you order something and not be committed to buying it?? Maybe you should have ordered 1 thing at a time to make sure you had the finances to clear the charges...

I hardly call this "devastating." You just sound like a customer looking for something to complain about.

OMG they shipped my stuff!!! earlier than I though! I am never buying!!! from them again!! LOL.

So elighten us, what would you say if they called before they charged your card? "OK cool, go ahead."

Sounds like a total waste of time to me.

I was not upset about them shipping out my order, it was the fact they told UPS to return the wrong part :-(

Ha ha - you brought this upon yourself. I don't think I'd blame the vendor at all.

As others have said, once you place the order, you're committed. Don't expect the transaction to go smoothly when you change your mind at the last minute or make special requests.

Though some things were messed up, like them recalling the wrong part, you will be hard pressed to find an online company that wouldn't have botched up your special requests. When I order things online I always make it simple and never ask for special requests. You should have canceled your request on the spoiler along time ago, but I'm guessing you wanted it canceled at the last minute because of funds.

This reminds me of my wife and I in a restaurant, she can never just order what is on the menu. It is always some special alteration of what is on the menu, many times it gets screwed up. She will then have a problem with the restaurant. I always order what is available, no additions, no changes, and surprisingly I never have any problems.

Had nothing to do with funds, I was able to get the Front Chin from my local Dealer.

Asking them to contact me before they ship was for me to make sure they did not charge my card more then it should have been.

I'm was not going to pay $120 in shipping.

I'm done with this post.

If you didn't have enough money to buy them both, you shouldn't be buying them.

I have had great experiences with thenismoshop. Sounds like you should just let things happen how they are supposed to happen instead of expecting someone to call you just to ship your order. A reputable shop is not going to charge you extra after they tell you what the total price is going to be. Next time let the shop do there job and keep enough money in your bank account to cover the purchase. If you would so happen to get charged extra, dispute the extra charges or call them and talk to them about it.

Bytching about your request not being carried out and thus being misunderstood and getting both items canceled is more or less your own fault. You either have the money or you don't and their is no need to be notified after the fact.

Personally, I've learned (the hard way) to ask about availability prior to placing an order and also not to **** them off unless it's truly called for; until parts are in hand at least.

They took your order and you decided to change it. Why would they not recall back what they had already sent out..

I dont understand people buy the darn thing and wait for it to come in. Just wait!!!!!

They aren't obligated to tell you the day before you will be billed - you are obligated to pay as soon as you order.

I've got a Nismo kit on backorder from them, they did their part and ordered it and have updated me...so far I have no complaints with them.

I've had good experiences with TheNismoShop.

Why would you demand to be called the day before you're billed?
You placed the order, you will be billed when it ships out... Why did you need to know?

lol wow, you think after I stated 4 times now it has nothing to do with money.

You think people would get it..

I was never told how much I was paying, I was never told how much my shipping was.

That is why I asked.

If you guys want to just toss your money away be my guest, I don't care how much money a person has they should not just toss it away and pay more for something when they don't have to.

^^^so what i get from this post...your only complaint really is that they recalled the wrong part?

them not calling you back the day they ship, is not a big deal at all

but ive never had a problem with them before. bought nismo exhaust and brake pads from them with no problems

are you still waiting on your intakes, or have they reshipped them already?

Why would you order something without knowing the cost of item and shipping?
