Default Do all 2008 350Z's come with electronic immobilizers ?

I'm going to import a 2008 350Z enthusiast to Canada and we require an electronic immobilizer to pass the initial inspection. Do the 2008 models all have them ?

If not, any suggestions on an appropriate after market model ?

Yes, all 350Zs come with NVIS (Nissan Vehicle Immobilizer System).

Look in section 6 - In Case of Emergency. There is a section titled "Changing a flat tire" - it has the jack points shown.

hmmmm i looked in the regular 'changing a tire' section, it wasn't in there. i'm not sure if that was in section 6 or section 8 [the maintenance section, i think?]

now i'm damn curious.. i'll check when i get to my car later.

Look around page 6-4 or 6-5 depending on what year manual you have.

You can't miss the spots on the car. There is a weld seam down each side, it has little mark cut into it near the front and rear wheels where you put the jack when lifting the car.

Since I ordered my Z, I had three months to read through the manual before it arrived. Between that and this site, I knew more than the salesman when it arrived as he was going over the features with me.

There's a huge thread on here along the lines of "look at the neat things/features that I found out about my Z". Half the stuff in the thread is readily described in the owners manual.
